Supporting the San Jorge Children's Foundation

Our team at Lumedic is made up of highly driven technologists who also have a mind toward mission. Many of us have our own personal ways to give back to our broader community and we also look to build lasting partnerships with charitable groups as we grow Lumedic.

This year, we have kicked off our relationship by focusing on the needs of Puerto Rico by donating to San Jorge Children’s Foundation (Fundacion de Ninos San Jorge). There are many needs in Puerto Rico even a year after Hurricane Maria and this was one group that resonated with us.

San Jorge Children’s Foundation is the only private pediatrics hospital in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean serving all pediatric sub-specialties. Their mission is to “Help improve the quality of life of children from low-income families in Puerto Rico, diagnosed with cancer or physical malformations.” I am hopeful we will find a way to not only financially help support this organization, but also look for ways our technology team can contribute in a strategic way.

We are looking forward to visiting the Foundation in early 2019 and sharing more about our growing relationship with the organization. For more information on the Foundation and to learn more, visit https://sanjorgechildrens.childrensmiraclenetworkhospitals.org/
